We are
Intraoperative Neuromonitoring(IONM) for Hospitals & Surgical Centers
IONM (Intraoperative Neuromonitoring) monitors the brain, spinal cord, and nerves during surgery to help prevent injury.
We provide IONM coverage for surgeons and hospitals across Canada. Our team integrates directly with operating room staff, supporting procedures in neurosurgery, spine surgery, ENT (thyroid, parathyroid), vascular surgery (including carotid endarterectomy), orthopedic surgery, and more.
Rampart Neuro offers nationwide service across Canada, with rapid response times and an on-call coverage model. Whether scheduled cases or urgent needs, we coordinate quickly with hospitals to ensure seamless support. Our team includes certified neurophysiology technologists and physicians with training from Rampart Academy. All technologists complete a minimum six-month training program and hold certification through OTIMROEPMQ. Physicians provide real-time oversight via telemedicine, ensuring the highest safety standards. (Website already contains multiple team member introductions and certifications)

WHAT IS
Neuromonitoring

“Following cardiovascular surgery in 2009, I suffered permanent neurological complications that affect my daily life. I have no doubt that the services provided by RempartNeuro and Dr. Fournier would have prevented these complications. I would recommend this service to all future patients who need surgery in order to minimize their risk of neurological accidents.”

Joe Hajj
"Dr. Fournier is a greatly valued member of our surgical team, and provides excellent care to recognize, diagnose and prevent potential nerve injury for our adolescent scoliosis repair program. He has the trust of our surgeon, Dr. Harris, our anesthesiologists, and our hospital network. He is courteous, professional, dedicated, meticulous and communicates very well. I have worked with other great neuromonitoring services, and Dr. Fournier's care stands out. Many thanks to Dr. Fournier, as without his support, the level of care we provide would not be possible.
